In the middle of the jungle, a group of battle-hardened jungle cultivators are fighting wild blaze-devil rays. The two men stop fighting to assess the damage to the platform. They realize that the platform is only supported by one pillar and that they will soon fall down if they continue to fight. They decide that they are part of the "road of trial takers" and should be allowed to continue fighting. The fire has subsided, and the two men rush off to clear the way for the next platform. Suddenly, they hear that there is an island in the distance ahead of them, and they decide to take a shortcut to the island.
