About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that he's a guard dog, and that he belongs to Atsuya's side of the family. He tells her that he loves her, but that he wants her to decide whether to date him or not after she hears him out. He's been hiding something from her for a long time, and he knows it's true, but can it really be true? The narrator says that when he heard it from his dad, he couldn't believe what he was hearing, but he still believes it. He says that the reason guys approach him because of his phero is that they want to thank him for his kindness. The narrator doesn't want to get into a fight with him, though, and says that he isn't interested in the subaru guy. He wants to know if there's any proof that his feelings for atsuya aren't real, or if they're just an illusion created by his pheromones. He asks if you still believe him, and she says that she does, too. She tells him that she still believes in his feelings, too, because she's grossed out by his scent.
