About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the Prologue is a long, angry monologue in which we are introduced to a new character, the "mutated human" . The Prologue begins by saying that he is a "mutant human" and that he will kill the "arrogant and conceited" human. He then goes on to say that he still has some time to play with the "antigravity playground" , and he welcomes the "poor humans" to his "playground." He says that the "so-called power" of the gods is nothing but the power that the humans have given to the gods. The "ignorant followers" have already paid for their stupidity, and without them the gods will not survive long. He tells the humans that they are the "creators of god," and that all he needs to do is "punish those stupid humans" and they will fear him, respect him, believe in him, and stay afraid of him at all waking moments of their lives
