Yumizuki asks if it's okay for him to rely on his friend, Kitou, to take care of him while he's waiting for him home. Yume tells him that he can't go home alone because of the rain, but Yume says he'll walk home anyway. He tells Kitou that he doesn't want her to be sad, but he also tells her that he didn't mean to make her sad, and that she's not a bad person. He's just trying to provoke her, he tells her. He says that she used to be a "drunken" woman, but now she seems like a good person to go home with. He asks if she shook, and she says no, she just flinched. She says she was just frustrated that she wasn't going to be relied on. She's glad that he came out in the rain. She tells him she'll never be able to get away from him.
