In this chapter, we learn that a young woman named Tanaka has just arrived at a hotel in order to install a new system for the company's intranet. The young woman is an engineer named Mizoguchi, and she and her colleague have arrived at the wrong hotel. Mizo tells Tanaka that he's an engineer and that they're going to install the new system in a few days. Tanaka tells Mizo that she doesn't even know that he works for a company and that she's just a working woman. She tells him that she wants to talk to him, but Mizo won't let her. He tells her that he can't do it by the dead-line because the manager is going to kill him if he does. He says he'll just go to the sofa in the hallway and pretend that he forgot to do his work. He's worried that the manager will kill him. He asks Mizo if he can walk him home, and Mizo says that's what he should do. He then asks Tanaka what she'll do with the blue panties that she gave him. She blushes and says that she won'T give them to Mizo. She then asks him why he didn't treat her like a friend all this time, and why he keeps calling her a thief. She says that he was holding her wallet back when she fell asleep, and that Mizo must have been keeping it in his room because he was half asleep.
