In this brief scene, Blackie explains to Victor how he and Victor's secret relationship has come to be known. He explains that he was planning to return to Victor and share the letter with him, but suddenly, he feels unwell and has to leave. He tells Victor that he thinks they are friends, but that they are secretly lovers. He says that after he found out about their secret relationship, he was jealous and helpless. He asks Blackie to stay by his side forever. He also tells Blackie that they have invented orange lanterns to communicate with each other using the coded words "I miss you."
