The narrator introduces us to Kihyun and Eun-woo, the two young men who have just agreed to live together. Kihyun tells the narrator that he's willing to live with him, but he wants to make sure that the relationship isn't going to be a disaster. He wants to know if it'll be okay if they're both alpha and beta, or if it will just be a matter of the two of them being attracted to each other's pheromones. The narrator doesn't know what to make of this. He says that it's fine for them both to be attracted to the same person, but that they'll have to get used to the fact that their pheromones are different. The two men leave, and Kihyun asks the narrator to give him his number so that he can track down Yon-woo's whereabouts. He's not sure if he should do it himself or not, but the narrator tells him to go ahead and do it.
