About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that the protagonist of the story is a "sports ace" who has won a "field tournament" and "won a prefectural track" . He's also a "boy friend" of the protagonist's, and he's been having sex with him. The narrator is all, "hey, you were at rabbit again yesterday, right?" Translation: we had sex, and we're having sex again. The protagonist is totally psyched about it. He tells the narrator to hurry back to class, because he'll never forget that day when he and the protagonist had sex. He also tells the protagonist not to make fun of him, because it's good to "stimulate day's day off." The protagonist says, "Sorry, but I really reme-ber . . a hunk." Translation: "I'm not going to show you the student hand book, my boy friend, because there's a rule prohibiting teachers from having sexual relations with students. I'm going to tell you how I felt that day, and I'll give it back to you." Translation? The protagonist wants to know what happened, but the narrator doesn't want to believe him. Translation: the protagonist is trying to hold himself back, but he wants the protagonist to look at him more, too, and to think about him seriously. Translation? He wants to be the hero of this story, so the protagonist should think about what happens to him from now on.
