About This Chapter
In this short scene, we learn that the school festival is coming up in October, which means that many students will not be able to go out on dates during the month of October. So, we're told, it's going to be tough for the students to find a date for the festival. We're also told that the festival will be a big deal in Japan, so the students are going to have to get used to the idea of going to the festival without their friends and family. This is a good time to introduce us to a new character, who we'll call "Seima-Tachibana" . We learn that she's a student in high school, and that she and her friends have been kicked out of the festival because of their involvement in the student council. She's bummed that she can't go out with her friends because the festival is so big, but she doesn't want to let them down, so she tells them to go ahead and hang out at the festival with her. She also tells them that they can text her as soon as they're free, since she'll be walking around the festival on her own. She asks him if he's doing anything with his class, and he says that he is. She then asks him what's up with the festival, and she tells him that it was not his fault that they were kicked out, since the festival wasn't his fault. He then asks her if she'd like to walk around with him, and when she says no, he says he'll text her when he gets back from the festival . He also tells her that he was hungry from all of the screaming, and so he'd had to go outside to get some food. He's glad that he didn't have to wait in line for the first band to play, because he
