The next day, Tommo and the other members of the contra-true-world- summoning association discuss what they've learned from Tokoyo's encounter with the shark. Tommo explains that the group's mission is to capture and destroy the creatures that summon them. They've captured a shark, and now they're going to use it as a weapon against the enemy. The other members are confused, but Tommo reassures them that they haven't committed any wrongs. He also points out that the altar doesn't seem like it's been "bloodied together" . He wonders if the association is trying to send a mole to the school so that they can spy on Tommo's classmates.
