About This Chapter
The three men discuss the search for typhon, which is going well. They're glad to see that they're not the only ones looking for him. They don't want to run into any trouble, they say, and they've been working hard for six months to find him. He's finally starting to get the hang of the whole thing. He says he's been eating dragon meat for the last six months, and it's getting better and better. He doesn't think they'll be able to continue poaching if the population of dragons continues to drop. He also says that there are some animals that have been hunted to extinction, so they can't just let them go. He tells them that he never gets tired of the scenery, and he wants to check out the bridge to see if there are any survivors. He notices that there's no sign of anyone alive, but there must be some sort of temple in the water. He wonders if the locals worshipped dragons there, too, and wonders if that's the reason they attack ships so much. He remembers the time he saw a statue of a dragon attacking a ship to take the sky back from people.
