The golder crows stay in his body until he hatches. He tells the young man that he has lived for nine thousand years and that he is a unique individual. The young man is a dying man. He has spent his entire life cultivating and now that he knows the old man, he can die without regrets. The old man says that death is a relief to him. He says that he can give him another hundred years. If he wants to repay him, he should simply serve as his servant for the next ten years. He goes on to say that he will take care of the coffin first and then he will help the empress. The empress is frozen in her coffin. She must have had her eyes tempered into a woman's body when she was still alive. She is now a corpse. The golden eagle says that she can now restore her soul. The eyes are brightened slightly, but the rest is still waiting for her self-consciousness.
