Yeah, I'm out, it's extremely dumb of the author to alternate between comedy / parody and tragedy / death like this. Even after having his entire village destroyed + his new friends killed, the mc still act like a clumsy idiot. I can't take this seriously, either make it a comedy or a serious story..

This is a prime example of a 'rushed for no reason' writing... This is the difference between a successful author and an 'average pleb author', they should have taken their time to develop the MC, the relationship with them, his strength etc before sending ANY assassins in... And there was no need for that whole dramatic death to fuel MC's development... It already happened with the villagers. Pointlessly rushed and dramatic for no reason.
