In this short scene, we learn that Milady and her son are on their way back to the palace, and Milady is furious that she has been betrayed by her husband. She begs Milady to come back with her and kill the second prince and his men. Milady, however, refuses, saying that her husband betrayed her by giving her the golden pen that he had given her before his death. She tells Milady that she is not jealous of her husband's actions, and that she does not want him dead.
