In this short scene, we learn that the girl we met earlier in the novel has transformed into a beautiful teenager. We learn that she has changed her name to "He Tiedan" and that she is now a member of the school's physical education class. She is also introduced to her new friend, zhouhua, who is also a student at the school. The two of them discuss the fact that xi has not yet arrived at school, and xi asks the girl to talk to the teacher about his arrival time. The girl is shocked to learn that they have not even spoken to each other, and she wonders if they are "two childhood sweethearts" . She also learns that the fourth term of school is physical education. She wonders how there is no one in the room, and wonders if there is any one there. . she is a girl now, she says, she is afraid of most of the things that she used to be afraid of. She asks hua why he is there, and he tells her that he came to find xi but that the whole class has disappeared. She then asks him to explain why she was not feeling well, and how she ran so fast when she was uncomfortable. He says that he did not expect xi to fight so much, and that he was surprised by the girl's ability to run so fast. She tells hua that he has been playing hide-and-seek with her for a whole day, and now she is without any clothes. He asks her if she has any clue why she switched bodies overnight. She says that the "self-proclaimed gentleman" has become a "real girl," and she gives him a brand of marshmallows.
