About This Chapter
In this short scene, Westmoreland and Dolan discuss the events of the previous day. Westmoreland tells Dolan that the patient was not a live person, and that they have only two minutes to get access to the serum. Dolan says that he wants to keep the serum in mind during the campaign, so that it will not turn into a zombie ripping his head off. Westmoreland says that they will die, but they will be together. Westmoreland remarks that there is "n - nothing left standing down there" . He says that the thanks they get for their years of service are enough to make him feel better. He asks if they are going to do anything, and they reply that they are not going to. Westmoreland asks where the girl is, and the lieutenant says that she is dead. Westmoreland then asks if Dolan is alive, and he replies that it is not his fault that he is alive. Westmoreland is surprised to see that the two men are still together, and says that Dolan's father will be pleased to see them
