About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Hirohito's men have deserted him, and that dejima's body is nowhere to be found. We learn that little fold has arranged this trip to settle all of his debts with the people of Hizen, and to kill his arch-rival, the monster . He tells us that he's ready to go, but that they're narrow in their target. They need to take the stairs to the top of the castle, and he tells them to do so. He says that they can fight, too, because the monster will always give him the look of pin-suke. He asks them to go down to the castle and check out what's going on there. He's glad that he finally defeated the monster, because it means that he will never be able to give him any of his old tricks. He also asks if there's a god, and shishiwaka says that he doesn't believe in one.
