In this chapter, the mage explains that he wants the soul of the void realm's cultivator to live so that he can defeat the cultivator in battle. He also explains that if he is reincarnated into a mara, his master will value him greatly. He tells the reader that he is sensing that the world will undergo "drastic changes soon" and that he will use the mara bell to find him wherever he is. The mage also tells us that two women are controlling the rain of fire, but they are unable to do anything because they are subject to the "purple robed man"'s whims.
