At the beginning of the second chapter, we are told that we are now in the middle of a battle between the New World and the Old World. The old world is led by a group of old men, and the new world led by an army of young men. As the battle progresses, we learn that the old world's leader is an old woman who was kidnapped when she was a young girl. The Old World leader is a woman who has been kidnapped by the new World and who is now 26 years old.
