About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Hirohito's secret weapon, the anti-tank haw206, has been discovered and that it can be used to freeze the vehicle in its tracks. We also learn that the key to the vehicle's key has been placed in a ware house, which contains anti-missile weapons. Hiroshito begs the Major to let him go and kill his enemies before they happen. The Major refuses, saying that he cannot directly link to the brain of a man who has sworn never to harm anyone. The thud of the vehicle makes the Major think that he is about to be killed. He tries to open a hatch so that he can burn out Hiroshi's brain, but the thud will not allow him to do so. The sound of the battle cries out in the background, and the Major realizes that the battle is still going on.
