The next morning, the Governess is furious with her husband. He has accused her of running away from her home. She tells him that he is the one who gave him the right to do so, and that she will not force him to do the same thing again. She asks him if he is willing to go home with her now that she has apologized for her behavior the night before. The Governess says that she is going back home first, and she will return to her room and wait for her husband to return.
