When Ling-ling wakes up, he finds that his uncle has come to talk about the chaos beast. He tells his uncle that the mission he gave him is very important, and that he should focus on the beast instead of the other things he's been neglecting. He says that he'll definitely complete the mission, and he promises to do so no matter how "irregularly" he is. Ling-lan says that after he lost track of Bing-lan, he found her in a small building. She's safe, he says, and there's no way for her to run away. He breaks into the building, and Ling-Lin is overjoyed to see her.
